Concept illustration of the workflow
The client's brief
Integrated Digital Strategies, a sales and marketing company in Massachusetts, tracked leads in WhatConverts. They needed a Google Apps Script that runs automatically every day on a sheet trigger and pulls lead counts. The sheet also had to be easy to copy: for another account, you change two variables, the API key and the account id, and nothing else.
What was built
The script produces the report the brief described:
- totals by lead source (lead_source);
- totals for the phone_call and web_form lead types;
- one row per "week of", Monday to Sunday;
- monthly totals for every column.
The work ran from mid-January to early February 2022.
Where this fits
A report like this suits an agency or marketing team that wants a regular lead summary without manual exports. With several accounts, a copy of the sheet with a different key gives the same report for another client.
